Mr. Muhammad Al-Handal, The M D. of ICF-SMEs ., participated the conference on the actual needs for financing small and medium enterprises in Iraq, which was organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation “GIZ”, and in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Ali Al-Alaq.
Al-Handal spoke, during a discussion session alongside the Director General of the Banking Department at the Central Bank, Mrs. Qesma Saleh, and Managing Director of IPBL, Mr. Ali Tariq, and the President of the Iraqi Federation of Industries, Mr. Adel Akab, about the impact of financing for these projects on creating job opportunities and reducing the unemployment rate in Iraq, as well as to the challenges facing the borrower and the lender, which requires radical solutions, which the CBI is working on in the lending strategy to be launched next year.
