- • Holding meetings of the Advisory Committee and the General Assembly of the shareholders of the company.
- • The visit of Mr. Haitham Talal, Deputy of Managing Director, Minister of Tourism in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Mawlawi Jabbar Wahhab, to discuss the tourism investment opportunities that exist in Kurdistan Region and the role of banks and the company in supporting this project.
- • Holding a training course for Samawah entrepreneurs at Gihan University – Erbil (Samawah – Tamkeen Fund).
- • A workshop was held in the city of (Alqosh), Nineveh Plain, to finance pioneering projects, in the presence of the mayor of Alqosh city, Mrs. Lara. The aim of the workshop is to help entrepreneurs and prepare them to write and present ideas for their own projects under the auspices of the Takamul program team supported by the US Agency for International Development.
- • Participation with industrialists in Samawah governorate by sewing and manufacturing medical masks to fill the shortage of medical supplies in challenge to the Corona virus.
- • A meeting was held at the headquarters of the ICF-SMEs in the presence of a number of prominent banking figures of the first sponsor and the session was chaired by Dr. Bassem welcomed to all and the attendees offered and congratulations to the chairing of the functions of director general of the Center for Central Bank Studies, He thanked and appreciate those who prepared this vital meeting in the presence of shrines with a long history in the banking sector and expressed his willingness to cooperate with expert gentlemen in order to achieve partnership and serve the banking sector in Iraq. The opinions and proposals and many important topics were discussed in this session, and the extent of their impact, and here are the most prominent opinions and proposals that were agreed upon by the attendees:
1- Activating the work of the Financial Court.
2- Activating the work of the Iraqi Bankers Association.
3- Activating the Banking Club as a meeting place for bankers
4- Preparing meetings for the first sponsor to put forward the proposals and deliver them to the governor and periodically to determine the subject of the meeting in advance to be prepared and prepared.
