The Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises participated in the annual conference organized by the Microfinance Network in Arab Countries “SANABEL” in Jordan from May 13, 2024, to May 15, 2024. The conference focused on financial inclusion and was held under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan. The event discussed global trends and their impact on microfinance industry in Arab countries. And includes various discussion sessions.
More than 250 representatives from financial institutions from various parts of the Arab world attended. The first session began with a discussion on global economic trends and their role in shaping the credit landscape in Arab countries. The subsequent sessions discussed topics such as innovation in financial services. Empowering women in the financial sector, Challenges of accessing funding for marginalized groups. The conference was an opportunity for knowledge exchange and enhancing cooperation between financial institutions to improve financial inclusion in the Arab region.
