The Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Projects participated on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in a ceremony honoring the youth graduates from the workshops of the initiative. “Hayyz for a Thousand Projects“, which was organized by the "Hayyz" platform under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the German Cooperation Organization (GIZ), and in partnership with the Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Projects.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, the GIZ representative in Iraq, Mr. Joseph, the Director-General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, alongside representatives of the Iraqi company.
The ceremony included an introductory presentation by Mr. Muhannad on the platform's objectives and operational mechanisms, in addition to a simplified explanation of the loan process provided and 0% risk guarantee to support and empower emerging youth projects.
This ceremony was held to honor the first cohort of trainees, with the initiative set to continue by organizing additional workshops targeting more aspiring youth looking to start their own businesses.
